Frequently Asked Questions

Astah can be easily installed on Mac OS X with a dmg file.

• A dmg file has been available since version 6.3. For version 6.2 or older, a .zip file is distributed on Astah community site. To find it, type [Mac OS X] in the search box.

Download and Install Astah

1. Download the Mac OS X dmg file(xxxx-MacOs.dmg) from Astah's download site
2. Double-click the .dmg file
3. With an administrator account, double-click the installer package Astah Community, UML or Professional
4. Install by following the instructions that appear
5. Open the package Astah Community, UML or Professional in the Application folder
6. Double-click Astah Community, UML or Professional
