Export from Safilia

Overview

Generate an XML file that can be imported into Astah by using SCDL XML export tool (Safilia extension tool). Use the SCDL’s XML export tool in a dedicated Safilia tuned to make it work.

The models shown below can be exported to XML File.

How to Export

  1. Unzip the Safilia (safilia-2.0-jre-64bit.zip) tuned for export. Double-click safilia.exe in the unzipped Safilia folder to start Safilia.

  2. Open the project to export and select [File] - [Export] - [SCDL to SCDL XML …] in the Main Menu.

  1. Open the file to export from the Select File dialog, enter the export file name, and press the [Save] button.

Attention

  • Export is done on a project-by-project basis. Export cannot be done on a package-by-package basis.

  • Styles such as colors and fonts set on Diagram Elements are not exported.

  • Safilia tuned for export should be used only for this data export, and should not be used for other tasks such as writing a new SCDL.
