Internal Block Diagram¶
Internal Block Diagram represents the internal structure of the Block in terms of how the Part, Port, and Connector ares interconnected.
Creating an Internal Block Diagram¶
Internal Block Diagram can be added by the following procedure:
Right-click a Block to create an Internal Block Diagram in the Block definition diagram and click [Internal Block Diagram].
An Internal Block Diagram is created under the specified Block.
Diagram Elements of Internal Block Diagram¶

Add a Proxy Port. Select from the pull-down of the Port icon.
Interface
Add an Interface.
Interface (Normal)
Add an Interface (normal). Select from the pull-down of the Interface icon.
Provided Interface
Add a Provided Interface.
Required Interface
Add a Required Interface.
Dependency
Add a Dependency.
Allocate Dependency
Add an Allocate Dependency. Select from the pull-down of the Dependency icon.
Realization
Add a Realization.
Usage Dependency
Add a Usage Dependency.

Show Part¶
Set whether to show or hide the Part Property and Reference Property. Right-click on the diagram to open the context menu and select [Show Property…]. Then check the part to show in the [Show Part] dialog and click the [OK] button.
Show Port¶
Set whether to show or hide the Port. Right-click on the diagram to open the context menu and select [Show Port]. Then check the Port to show in the [Show Port] dialog and press the [OK] button.
Part Property and Reference Property¶
Creating a Part Property and Reference Property¶
Part Property and Reference Property can be created by the following procedure:
Select [Part Property and Reference Property] on the Tool Bar and click on the diagram. Then select a property to add from the [Add Property] dialog and press the [OK] button.
A new Part Property and its Type Block are created by checking the [Add a new Property] check box.
To add an existing property of the parent block, select the property to add and press the [OK] button.

A new Part Property can be created by double-clicking on the Internal Block Diagram.
Editing the Part Property¶
Editing the Name¶
Name can be edited by the following procedure:
Double-click the name of the diagram element on the diagram editor and edit the name.
Edit from the [AssociationEnd A]/[AssociationEnd B] tab in the Property View
Name or Type Visibility¶
Set whether to show or hide Name and Type by the following procedure:
Select [Name Visibility] or [Type Visibility] from the context menu.
Only Name is selected
Only Type is selected
Add an Internal Block Diagram¶
Internal Block Diagram can be added by the following procedure:
Select [Add Internal Block Diagram] from the context menu.
Show Child Properties…¶
Child property can be added by the following procedure:
Select [Show Child Properties…] from the context menu, select the Child Property to add from the dialog, and press the [OK] button.
Item Flow¶
Creating an Item Flow¶
Item Flow can be created by the following procedure:
Select [Item Flow] on the Tool Bar, click on the diagram, and draw a line between the Properties or Ports.
Connector¶
Creating a Connector¶
Connector can be created by the following procedure:
Select [Connector] on the Tool Bar, click on the diagram, and draw a line between the Properties or Ports.
