Sequence Diagram




Create Diagram

  • Go to [Diagram] - [Sequence Diagram]
  • Create from the pop-up menu in the Structure Tree.


Hide Diagram Frame

Select the Sequence Diagram in the Structure Tree, then check off the [Frame Visibility] in the Propety view.

TIPS: Hide diagram frame by default
You can hide diagram frame by default in the System Properties.

Create a Lifeline

There are three ways to create Lifeline.

  1. Double-click on a Sequence Diagram.
  2. Select [Lifeline] on the Tool palatte and click on a diagram.
  3. Drag Class from the Structure Tree on to Sequence Diagram.
TIPS: Show Actor as Lifeline on Sequene Diagram
By dragging an Actor from the Structure Tree to Sequence Diagram, you can represent lifeline in Actor on the Sequence Diagram.





TIPS: Align Lifeline length
Right-click on the Sequence Diagram, then you will have menu to adjust all the lifeline length.



Message

Create Message

There are two ways to create Message.

  1. Choose [Message] or [Asynchronous Message] in the Tool palatte and click two lifelines.
  2. Use Suggest Feature.
       

Create a Found Message

Select [Synchronous Message] or [Asynchronous Message] from the Tool palatte and click target Lifeline.



Create a Lost Message

Select [Synchronous Message] or [Asynchronous Message] from the Tool palatte and click Lifeline and then anywhere other than Lifeline.



Create a Gate

Select [Synchronous Message] or [Asynchronous Message] from the Tool palatte and click on a diagram frame then Lifeline.



Create a Reply Message

There are two ways to create Reply Message.

  1. Select [Reply Message] from the Tool palatte and click a lifeline.
  2. Turn [Reply Message Mode] on the Tool palatte and create Messages.


CombinedFragment

Select [CombinedFragment] on the Tool palatte and click on Diagram.



Create an Operand

You can create Operand from the CombinedFragment's Property view or diagram's pop-up menu.



TIPS: Define loop in the CombinedFragment
You can enter texts and numbers from the CombinedFragment's Property View.
