You can search models and diagrams within a project and also in a specific diagram.
You can use search options to access the specific models or replace strings, and clean up the project by finding unnecessary models…etc.
In the project view, choose the [Search] tab.
There are two actions you can do from search results.
One is to open a diagram where the selected model is depicted.
From search results, you can jump to the selected model in the structure tree.
From this [Search] pane, you can find models that are not on any diagrams or models that have no relationships…etc. This is useful when you are trying to clean up the project.
Models in Astah can have hyperlinks to any external files (.doc and .txt…etc.), URL and models within the project.
From this [Search] pane, you can find broken hyperlinks.
You can find the models you want to access by using the filter filed in the Structure tree. Please refer to “Structure Tree” for details.
Hit [Ctrl/Cmd +F] or go to [Edit] – [Search on Diagram] menu to open the search bar.
Models that contain the keyword you enter will be highlighted.
Hit [Option] button on the right will open an options dialogue that enables case-sensitive and also you can choose if you want to search for topics that are closed in MindMap.
