It takes too long to save, or Astah seems frozen when I save a project file

This may happen when you are running Astah on Java 6. Please try following solutions:

Clean up files on the Desktop, My recent documents, My documents,etc. if they are large files, or zip files in those folders.
Use other Look&Feel except Windows. ([View] - [Look & Feel] in Main Menu)
