Plug-ins Support

Astah has started Plug-ins support. Download Plug-ins from our website (Select [Help] – [Plugin List] to access there directly.) We plan on releasing more Plug-ins in the future and publishing a tutorial guide of how to develop Plug-ins for Astah in October. For more information, please go to Plug-ins page.

Apply the change of System Properties to current project

Astah offers two ways to set the system preferences. [System Properties] as default setting to create projects based on and [Project Properties] ([Tool] – [Project] – [Set Project Properties]) for individual project. We added a new option in the [System Properties] dialog, so you are able to apply the change you made in the [System Properties] to project you are currently working on easily.

New options for [Shared Style] to present models with shared line

[Shared Style] now has new options to enable you to show objects with shared lines in [Vertical] or [Horizontal] or [Separated] easy and quick.

Now you are able to specify const (return value) for parameters in C++.

Handy option for switching ON/OFF suggest feature

You can change the setting of Suggest Feature in the [System Properties] or [Suggest Feature] button on the tool bar. If you have it ON but you don’t need to see the suggestions, hold [SHIFT] key down, it immediately turns off the feature. On the other hand, if you have it OFF, holding [SHIFT] key down turns the feature on and brings the suggestion back when you need.

Trial without an evaluation license

We have made the trial process easy. Now you are able to evaluate Astah Professional and Astah UML just by downloading them. An evaluation license comes with the tool. So you no longer need to apply for an evaluation license on our website. When you first launch Astah, a dialog appears to tell you until when you can evaluate the tool. Download here.
