Our 'Easy Code Reverse' Plug-in enables you to reverse Java Source code from Github, Bitbucket, Google Project Hosting and other repository services into UML class diagrams just by dragging and dropping the URL from the site or .java files in local workspace directly to Astah. It instantly parses the source code and creates class diagrams.

  1. Download the Easy Code Reverse Plug-in
  2. Extract the .zip file and save the .jar file (easycodereverse-0.x.x.jar) in the "plugins" folder under Astah Installation folder
  3. Save the dictionary.json file in the Astah Installation folder
  4. Launch Astah
  5. Open a class diagram (new or existing)

  6. Open a page in you web browser that has the source code you want to reverse (ie. Github, Bitbucket or Google project hosting).

  7. Drag and drop the URL directly into an Astah class diagram

  8. The souce code will appear as a class diagram in Astah
